ABOUT ME

My name is Sofia Angulo, I'm 17 years old and currently a senior at the Watkinson School. I love playing volleyball and traveling when I can!

A big part of my Global Studies journey is to focus on different religions, gender inequalities, and human rights. I am able to learn in and out of this program about these topics because of the events we attend.

I was raised in an immigrant household. My parents came here from Peru at different ages, my mom at 18 and my dad in his early 20s. Years later, they had my sister and I. Being Latina is a huge part of who I am. The older I get, the easier it is to embrace my identity.
